The Idaho Children's Trust Fund / Prevent Child Abuse Idaho is leading an effort to end the sexual abuse of children in our state. Our goal in the next three to five years is to train 5% of the adult population of Idaho or 57,000 adults in Stewards of Children. This is part of a national effort to train 12 million. Why 5%? We ask each Steward, each person trained, to identify 10 children who they feel responsible for protecting. When we reach our Idaho goal, hundreds of thousands of children will have a Steward looking out for them and we will change the social norm around abuse.
We don't do any of this work alone. We depend on partners like you, St. Luke's, Saint Alphonsus, the Treasure Valley YMCA, city governments, the Youth Ranch and over 100 Stewards facilitators throughout the state who do the hands on work.
If you would like to take a Stewards of Children training in Idaho, please see the below list of scheduled trainings. If you would like to schedule a training, please call or e-mail your regional contact.
